Airports retool to accommodate rail, buses in one hub

Airports across the country are reinventing themselves as transportation hubs, host to a variety of transportation options for both freight and passengers. As intermodal centers, airports are increasingly serving as the connecting point for buses, trains, taxis and shuttles. Miami and Providence, R.I., already are building to accommodate multiple modes, and others may soon follow suit.
