AVMA says community approach would help address dog issues

While it is difficult to determine which dog breeds are more dangerous than others, groups such as the AVMA provide advice on how to prevent dog bites and manage dogs that are considered dangerous. The AVMA's Task Force on Canine Aggression and Human-Canine Interactions recommends that a community approach using education and the media would greatly help in addressing this issue.
