Briggs & Stratton gets tax incentives for Kentucky plant

Briggs & Stratton has received preliminary approval for up to $15 million in tax incentives over 10 years from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority to reinvest in its manufacturing plant in Murray, Ky. The company also plans to spend $35.5 million for renovations to the plant, which employs 640 people.
