Credit card use by small businesses helps job creation, report says

Increased credit card use by small businesses as the loan environment tightened "contributed directly to the creation of 592,000 small-business jobs and an additional 1 million direct or induced jobs throughout the U.S. economy," according to a report conducted for the American Bankers Association by Keybridge Research. An NFIB report showed that 83% of small businesses used credit cards in 2009, up from 70% in 1998.
