Dow sees huge potential in Olympics sponsorship deal

Dow Chemical will become a major sponsor of the Olympics after striking a deal to supply materials for constructing Olympic facilities, the company said. The agreement, which is expected to produce more than $1 billion in sales for Dow, will make it the sole chemical supplier for the games, blocking competitors such as BASF and DuPont.
