USDA is set to begin feedlot animal-health study

The Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service in August will begin the first part of a nationwide study on beef feedlots, the first of its kind in 12 years. The study has five objects, including management practices and animal health, shedding of foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial usage.
