Restaurants accounted for about three-quarters of franchise job growth in June, according to the ADP National Franchise Report. Franchise jobs grew by almost 28,000, compared to about 19,000 in May, with gas stations, auto repair shops, business services and accommodations contributing to the growth, as well. "The economy is improving -- more people are eating out so restaurant sales are pretty good," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics. "Broadly speaking, franchise employment is growing a bit faster than overall employment."
