Floodplain managers note inaccurate data in some FEMA maps

The flood maps issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency for Texas and other states incorrectly place many homeowners in flood zones, according to local floodplain managers. Many revised maps are based partly on outdated data, according to state and local officials.
