Stihl manufacturing camp for Va. high school students targets new talent

Outdoor power equipment maker Stihl has launched its "Third Annual Modern Manufacturing Technology Summer Camp" for 25 high school students in Virginia Beach, Va. The camp will organize the students into teams and require them to come up with an efficient manufacturing process for three types of lamps made with parts from the company. The camp comes in response to a growing difficulty in finding skilled workers in manufacturing and engineering, a Stihl spokesperson said.
