Virtual school proposed to ease overcrowding in Ala. district

Baldwin County, Ala., Superintendent Alan Lee is proposing a plan to open the state's first public virtual high school, saying it could be the solution to the district's overcrowding. In introducing the idea, he said a virtual school also would create another option for students who may not thrive in a traditional classroom, creating flexible, personalized learning options.
