Scientists say antibacterial products unnecessary

A recent study found no significant difference in infectious symptoms between families that use antibacterial cleansers and those using regular soaps and detergents. The result didn't surprise researchers who explained that antibacterials are not effective in killing viruses. Viruses, not bacteria, cause most household infections.
