California hotel proposal faces adverse environmental report

The Boardwalk hotel project, which has four detached condominiums and is designed to be an attractive entry point into the southern portion of Oceanside, Calif., will block views of the Buena Vista Lagoon, according to the draft of an environmental impact report. The hotel's developer, Oceanside Three, may have to consider some of the report's alternatives, including a scaled-down version of the hotel.
