CBS content to be screened on hundreds of sites

CBS, having seen a huge jump in users on its own Web site after sharing its content with two-dozen partner sites, in the fall will distribute its TV content on some 400 Web sites. "CBS is all about open, nonexclusive partnerships," said Quincy Smith, CBS Interactive president. "Just CBS.com is not the answer" to building viewership, he added.
