MDS will restructure to try to boost profits

MDS of Mississauga, Ontario, will attempt to improve profits through a restructuring scheme that will see the company lose 210 employees and save about $20 million annually before taxes. The company expects the changes to cost about $18 million, most of which will be recorded in the company's fiscal third quarter.
