Caterpillar Q2 results may drop from Q1

Caterpillar analysts are awaiting second-quarter results from the equipment manufacturer. Caterpillar officials said the first quarter was the lowest point for the company, but sales have continued to drop since then. Analysts estimate a profit of 22 cents per share for the second quarter, compared with a profit of $1.74 a share for the second quarter of 2008.
