New Jersey solar arrays could cut energy costs by $466,000

The Army Corps of Engineers is installing large solar arrays over two parking lots in New Jersey. The solar arrays, which are the size of football fields, will generate nearly 480 kilowatts of energy for two New Jersey National Guard buildings and save about $466,000 in energy costs.
