Retail group warns high streets about "clone town" image

The British Retail Consortium recently published a report that advocates high streets get rid of their reputations as "clone towns" and become more interesting and unique to survive the economic downturn. In the report, the BRC suggests a mix of big-name retailers combined with independent stores.
