Rami Weiss started his baby boomer networking site, Boomerater, two years ago with $250,000, and needed only a few months to reach profitability. A report from consulting firm IBISWorld says Web-based businesses such as Boomerater are among the six most promising areas for startups, even in a tough economy. Other winners include senior services, education and fashion.
