Arts camp offers therapeutic benefits for students with special needs

Therapy Express Camp, a summer program for students with disabilities in Canada, focuses on improving students' social skills and other abilities by developing their talents in art, music and drama. Activities such as role-playing in drama class and sharing prized artwork with classmates allow the students -- who have autism, Down syndrome and other special needs -- to practice social interactions.
