Investors pour more money into longer-dated corporate bonds

Investors are betting that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates low because of deteriorating inflation expectations by accelerating purchases of longer-maturity corporate bonds. Charles Schwab and Grupo Bancolombia sold this week about $1.2 billion in bonds due in 2020, according to data from Bloomberg. Last week, $14.6 billion in debt was issued that is due in 10 years or more.
