Lawmakers are expected to grill Fed's Bernanke on the economy

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke faces two days of questioning by lawmakers, during which he is expected to be asked whether the central bank should do more to stimulate the economy. Bernanke is expected to acknowledge that although there are issues, they do not justify more stimulus -- at least not yet. During the past year, the Fed has gone from being on the verge of losing much of its authority to gaining additional oversight power.
