Nielsen to marketers: Don't forget baby boomers

Baby boomers account for 38% of CPG spending, yet companies devote less than 5% of their ad budgets to this demographic, Nielsen says. Members of the baby boomer generation are likely to have broadband Internet access and visit many of the same websites as adults 18 to 34, including Google, Yahoo, Facebook and YouTube, according to Nielsen.
