Physicians leave practices for security of hospital jobs

More physicians are leaving solo practices for the stability and income that large, better-financed hospital systems can offer them as salaried employees. Medicare cuts, low Medicaid reimbursements and payment changes coming from the health reform law are some of the reasons why physicians are moving away from solo practices.
