Pratt & Whitney in deals to sell engines to Emirates, Malaysia Airlines

Pratt & Whitney, owned by United Technologies Corp., says it finalized deals with Emirates Airlines and Malaysia Airlines at the Farnborough International Airshow this week. The deal with Dubai-based Emirates is for engines valued at $4.8 billion, and the Malaysia Airlines deal -- for engines for its 17 new Airbus A330 aircraft -- would be valued at about $680 million.
