NASA chooses landing site for next Mars rover

After years of debate, NASA has selected a landing site for its next Mars rover, named Curiosity. The agency will announce its choice of landing site, either the Gale crater or the Eberswalde crater, on Friday. The Mars Science Laboratory mission is scheduled to launch in November with Curiosity as its centerpiece.
