Leadership academy helps new administrators get their bearings

The Los Angeles Unified School District has begun using a new training program, Leadership Excellence though Administrator Development, to ease the transition for educators who have decided to become administrators. LEAD is part of the district's Administrative Academy, a program launched five years ago to give school leaders extra support.
