The bright spot at AOL

Time Warner reportedly is planning a restructuring of its AOL division, moving it away from Internet service subscriptions and toward an ad-supported content model. AOL subsidiary Advertising.com, acquired in 2004 for $435 million, is expected to have an integral role in creating and selling advertising units that appeal to marketers who prefer sales leads to clicks.
