Politics will play role in air cargo competition

Politics will play a key role in the competition for a contract to build a new military cargo plane. A team led by L-3 Communications will compete against a team lead by Lockheed Martin for the contract. L-3 this week announced it would spread the cargo-plane work to Florida and Mississippi if it wins the pact. Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was on hand for L-3's announcement.
