American Airlines tests in-flight Wi-Fi service

American Airlines will test in-flight Wi-Fi service on 15 jets over the next six months, and other carriers such as Southwest and Jet Blue are following suit. American plans to charge $12.95 for the Internet service on flights of three hours or longer. The in-flight Wi-Fi is being provided through a partnership with Aircell.
