Facebook frenzy may be short-lived

A recent survey found that 70% of Facebook's regular users claim they can't live without the service. But given that MySpace held that spot not too long ago -- and now Twitter is threatening to overtake Facebook -- consumers may be more fickle than they let on. "Marketers need to really research the different social spaces and define a clear reason for being in the social space," Kristina Knight writes.
