High school beckons Utah adults looking for new jobs

Adults in Utah are flocking back to high school to earn GEDs and brush up on skills to increase their marketability in a highly competitive job market. The state Office of Education reports an increase of 19% in adult enrollment over last year. Concerns are rising over accommodating the back-to-school rush as Utah's adult-education programs anticipate a 10% cut in state and federal funding.
