Algae-powered aircraft hints at future of flight

EADS is using the Farnborough International Airshow to display an experimental four-seat aircraft that could be a precursor to algae-powered commercial jets. The propeller-driven aircraft, which completed its first test flight in Germany last month, is a first step in EADS' goal of converting 10% of the global fleet to biofuel within 20 years.
