PC market in Asia Pacific surges 36% in the second quarter

About 27 million personal computers were sold in the second quarter in the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, according to IDC. The PC market surged 36% in the second quarter compared with a year earlier. However, PC shipments in Indonesia and China were short of forecasts, an IDC executive said.
