Banking groups voice concerns about CRD proposals

AFME and other European banking groups said that while they cautiously welcome the proposed Capital Requirements Directive under Basel III, they are concerned that the reforms might put EU bankers at a competitive disadvantage. Some insiders called for the directive's implementation to depend on Basel III rules being implemented in Asia, the US and other major financial markets.
