County, veterinary clinic have different view on feral cat control

All God's Creatures Veterinary Clinic in Clarksville, Tenn., has spayed or neutered about 200 feral cats in the two years since it began a catch-sterilize-release program. Clinic veterinarians are concerned about the county's policy of euthanizing feral cats that are brought to animal control facilities, but county officials say the policy is necessary because the animals are wild and unfit for adoption.
