Drinking water is safe from fracking chemicals, preliminary report says

Department of Energy researchers in a preliminary study reported no evidence that hydraulic fracturing chemicals contaminated aquifers at a drilling site in Pennsylvania. "It's important that we continue to seek partnerships that can study these issues and inform the public of the findings," said Kathryn Klaber, CEO of the Marcellus Shale Coalition.
