Study: Younger travelers opt for in-flight meals

Travel research company PhoCusWright Inc. found that air travelers 18 to 34 are more likely to purchase meals aboard flights. In 2012, 40% of leisure travelers purchased in-flight meals or snacks, compared to 28% in 2010. The study surveyed 2,500 American leisure travelers.
