Mich. program taps veterans to increase supply of nurses

The University of Michigan in Flint will use a $1 million federal grant to get more military veterans into nursing jobs. The school's accelerated nursing degree program builds on students' previous training and will provide nurses in areas where there are shortages and underserved populations.
