SCAI addresses infrapopliteal arterial disease interventions in consensus doc

A SCAI consensus document published in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions offers recommendations for the treatment of infrapopliteal arterial disease, increasingly facilitated by advancing technology and clinical expertise. "We are trying to create equipoise of understanding as to who can benefit from these interventions," said lead author Dr. Bruce Gray. Procedural goals can include pain relief, healing of ulcerations, prevention of major amputation and better quality of life.
