Carl's Jr. to revamp its look

A Carl's Jr. outlet prototype consists of a triangular glass-and-metal building that would meet green-building standards. The California-based restaurant operator is applying for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. In four to five years, the green initiative is expected to become a standard in future outlets.
