Travel agents, travelers and the industry are starting to understand the idea of medical tourism, which has now spurred a niche market: mental-health tourism. Researchers in Japan are looking into the trend, which primarily focuses on people suffering from stress and depression as a result of work but goes a step beyond a traditional relaxing vacation.
