Report: HIV growing problem in rural Deep South

A new report says a lack of federal funding for HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, rising infection rates, and inadequate resources and infrastructure have allowed the disease to take hold in the Deep South, especially in impoverished rural areas. The Southern AIDS Coalition report say the national HIV epidemic is now being driven by these rural areas in the South.
