Antioxidant researchers try on genes

Researchers are using new gene technologies to understand how antioxidants in foods such as turmeric and orange juice benefit hearts and arteries. The studies examine the range of genes affected by curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, and hesperidin, an antioxidant in orange juice.
