CDC data show travelers bring along infectious diseases

CDC data show more than 3,000 cases of potentially infectious diseases were reported among travelers in the past year. The cases included airline passengers with tuberculosis, whooping cough and typhoid fever, and CDC experts said that this emphasizes the importance of getting up-to-date vaccinations before going abroad.
