ConocoPhillips cancels upgrades for German refinery

ConocoPhillips will not improve its 260,000-barrel-per-day refinery in Germany and may convert the site into an oil terminal or sell it. "This move is consistent with our stated strategy of maintaining capital discipline and reducing our downstream portfolio over time," said company executive Willie Chiang.
