HP streamlines channel programs for partners

Hewlett-Packard channel chief Stephen DiFranco says the PC maker has learned from past stumbles in the reseller realm and is now focused on simplifying and reducing partner programs to make life easier for VARs. He said he believes HP is at the forefront in providing a commercial mobile practice thanks to its acquired Palm technology.
