Report: Marcellus contains an estimated $2T worth of gas reserves

The natural gas reserves in the Marcellus Shale could earn energy companies at least $2 trillion and generate billions of tax dollars for states, according to a report compiled for the American Petroleum Institute. The analysis comes as the Environmental Protection Agency kicks off hearings on the process of hydraulic fracturing.
