Resurgence for kitchen gardens

Kitchen gardens are making a comeback as more people become interested in growing their own herbs and vegetables. Bernards Inn restaurant in Bernardsville, N.J., grows its own vegetables in a main garden and now has a container garden on its rooftop. Elizabeth Johnston, a landscape designer in Denville, N.J., has seen business pick up with kitchen gardens. She says the challenge most people face is determining the best type of plants for the garden.
