Senate is seen passing small-business bill

Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, says she expects the chamber to pass the small-business bill by the end of this week. The provision that would create a $30 billion lending fund will be stripped out of the bill and added back as an amendment in order to highlight who supports the measure, Landrieu says.
