The resources of LGBT donors and activists will be sought after in the coming months for the election campaign of a candidate who could be the first openly LGBT U.S. senator, the Obama re-election campaign and numerous statewide ballot measures, according to this article. Chuck Wolfe, president and CEO of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund, said he expects the LGBT community will play a significant role in helping Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., raise the millions of dollars she'll need to run for the Senate.
